About Salland
Salland is the largest cricket club in the east of the Netherlands. Salland prides itself in being a very friendly, multicultural and hospitable club with a strong passion for cricket. Our ambition is to develop and promote cricket at all levels in this region of the Netherlands.
We currently have 3 senior and several youth teams. Our Salland 1 team plays in the highest division (topklasse) in the Netherlands.
Salland Cricket Club is the only club in the Netherlands that has two top-class grass wickets. Our wickets have an international ODI status which is unique for the Netherlands. This means that international matches often take place on the fields of the Salland Cricket Club.
No matter if you want to learn how to play cricket, play cricket for fun or you want to strive to play in one of the highest competitions in the Netherlands you are more than welcome at Salland Cricket Club!

Do you want to try out the game of cricket and get to know Salland Cricket Club?
Then come to our open introduction event on Sunday the 30th of October. We are organizing a cricket clinic in the indoor hall of Deventer Hockey Club (also located in Sportpark de Vijfhoek) for everyone interested in playing cricket. It does not matter if you are familiar with cricket or want to play for the very first time.
We will gather at 10:30 am at the entrance of Koninklijke UD soccer club (also the entrance of Salland CC) and walk to the indoor hall of DHV. The clinic will last until 12pm and will be led by our cricket coach Steven Lubbers. You can sign up by sending an email to info@sallandcc.nl. Hope to see you on Sunday!
Neighbourhood sports day
On the 1st of October Salland CC, together with the other sports clubs in SportPark De Vijfhoek will be hosting a neighbourhood sports day. It will be a fun day with lots of activities, including cricket to get people in the area involved in the sports park, become acquainted with cricket and hopefully join the club. It would be great if members can join in and help out. Check the poster for more information. Hope to see you there!
Membership Fees
You don't have to become a member right away. You are more than welcome to first join a few of our training sessions. Let us know if you want to join a training by sending a mail to the club.

Location
Salland Cricket Club is located in Sportpark 'de Vijfhoek' in Deventer.
Our address is: David Wijnveldtweg 4, 7425 AC Deventer. We share our clubhouse and grounds with Koninklijke UD football club.
The club is only 10 minute's walk from the train station 'Colmschate'.
Parking
There is ample parking at the entrance of the club.

Confidente
NOC*NSF has drawn up a number of rules of conduct to reduce undesirable behaviour within sports clubs. Based on this Salland CC has appointed a confident(e) wich members can consult if they are confronted with undesirable behaviour like aggression, discrimination, harassment, verbal/physical intimidation and sexual harassment. The support of the confident(e) may consist of advice, guidance, mediation or referral to other professional support.
